Today, we’re excited to announce that Liveblocks has raised $1.4M in pre-seed funding led by Boldstart and Seedcamp. Angel investors and funds such as Logic and Rhythm, Meta Fund, Ian Storm Taylor, Max Stoiber, Moritz Plassnig, and others have also joined the round.
At Liveblocks, we believe the next generation of SaaS products are all going to be realtime collaborative, and our mission is to help companies make that transition more easily.
We released the presence block a couple of months ago and it has already made it easier for hundreds of developers to integrate things like live cursors and live avatars into their products with just a few lines of code. Thank you to the early adopters and supporters who helped us get to where we are today, we wouldn’t be there without you!
We will now use the funds to grow the team (we’re hiring!) to help bring our second product to general availability. The storage block is our conflict-free live data storage solution that allows people to view and edit the same data in realtime. We’re inviting more people every week to the storage block private beta, and we can’t wait to see the amazing experiences you’ll create with it!
